What models years and types would fit as a replacement for an '83 with a 300? Going 'yarding and need one, but 83's are few and far, lots of later models there though.
I've got one I'm putting on Craigslist here in Memphis. Its from an 86, and will fit. Very good shape, but V8 engine swap dictates the change. E-mail me if interested.
My bad, Archion. You are correct. It wasn't apparent in the manual I was looking at, but when you said that, I checked my LMC catalog, and you are absolutely right. Of course, I can pull the lower mount brackets out of the scrap pile, too, along with the rubber mount insulators.
I don't consider a radiator a junkyard item unless it looks brand new. The newer radiators are thin, some of them are plastic, and most were abused and are clogged with hard water deposits. I have used junkyard radiators for hard to find old vehicles, but these newer trucks are just too easy to find at the local store. I just looked up one for a 1980 with a 302 and they started at $166.00.
