"The **AIS PART NUMBER** should only be installed on stock, unmodified engines. Not recommended for engines with performance enhancing devices such as electronic chips, turbo-chargers, or exhaust systems"
No thats not true. The Donaldson filter used in the AIS flows really good(even better with fender sleeve installed) and I don't know of any stock or aftermarket filter that even try to claim to filter dirt better than the AIS. The only thing is the cost of the filters but they don't need to be changed until filter minder says so , not by looking at the filter to see if it is dirty. Sometimes this could be 60,000 to 100,000k depending on how dusty and dirty the conditions you use your truck in.
I think the only time you'll run into problems with the AIS with the fender sleeve is if you go to a bigger turbo running high boost. It should flow plenty for 75% of us.
