major issues
I have a 2006 F150 4wd that had major front in damage and a bent frame from hitting someone who pulled out. It could be considered a head on my all front in was smashed. The bent frame part I can't remember but they mentioned that the alignment would never be the same but could repair it. Ford did the repair on the accident. My questions are:
If the main frame was bent, would this effect the rear end and cause the casing to blow apart?
Also, would this cause the transmission casing to crack after awhile of use and also u-joint to come out.
Ever since this accident, this truck has been more down than running. I am no mechanic but the repair cost are really high.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

If you hit somebody that hard all kinds of damage was probably done. I know they say frames can be straightened but I have my doubts how good the repairs will be. I guess they are as good as the shop doing them. As far as the cracked parts chances are they were caused by the impact but of course there's no way to tell for sure. In my opinion best thing to do with a vehicle that has that much damage is junk it, bite the bullet and start over.

You could fix it all but it will never be the same. You will notice little things that just are never right. Sometimes you might even notice bigger issues with the truck. My pops repair his frame on his van after a side impact and then two years later and god knows how many visits to the shop he bought a new vehicle. Lately it seems insurance companies would rather repair it then junk the vehicle for whatever reason.
