tranny upgrade
hello everyone , thanks for taking the time to read my thread.
I have a 77f250 4x4 supercab, with a rebuilt 460 pushing about 400hp/500lb tq. connected to a c6.
I want to replace the c6 with a better all around transmission, Im looking for suggestions.

Enthusiast77,the NV 5600 six speed is the latest and stoutest tranny that can handle up to 600 lb's of torque.It has a 5.63 to 1 granny and a 0.73 to 1 overdrive.I saw a write up on it in Petersens off road and 4x4 I think this is the link.They make adapters.
