Need piston dimension
This a 1989 7.3l
I have a set of Mahle pistons 14441713 .030 over that use the 7/64 oil ring. I have 2 pistons the will not go in there bores with the oil ring on. The other six went in slick and easy. The old pistons where also .030 over size but a part number of 180910c1 probably federal mogul. Both use the same oil ring The mahle pistons groove is .175 deep the Federal mogul is .203. I was wondering if one of you kinda folks could measure the depth of the oil ring groove on another Mahle piston for me. I really don't want to pull out a piston I already have set in place
