Hi guys
I've been looking for info on this and can't come up with any.
Posted on another thread and nothing.
Hope y'all can help.
I have a '74 F-100 4x4 short box, 360, 44 HP front, 9 inch rear.
The shock mounts require a loop on the top and on the bottom of the shock.
Ordered new fronts from JeffsBG. The stud that the top loop attaches to is way to big for the loop and bushing. Bottom is fine.
Are there two sizes?
Will a rubber bushing push on over the stud? (The supplied bushing is poly)
Thanks in advance.
You know, it's always the same.
As soon as you give up looking for something, you find it.
Looking around more on the JBG site found shock bushings with obviously larger stud holes.
So I'm assuming that there are different size studs and if you have the larger diameter type you have to order the larger diameter bushings separately.
tom i just may do that to **** my dad off. he's owned some fords over the years, but he's an old time racer and always had bad *** mopar's so he's a dodge nutswinger. i think he's secretly going to blow a gasket when i tell him i'm going to cut it up and wheel it. he'll act cool about it and say he gave it to me and i can do what i want with it and then he'll bitch to my mom about me ruining a perfectly good truck
