headlight switch removal

Hey guys,

There is a thread called "odometer blackout reading" That I read through and didn't realize there were so many ways to remove the switch. Can anyone tell me how or where the info is on it to remove the switch on my '99 F150 supercab production date 11-98. I posted this question on the Expedition/Navigator forum by mistake as I meant to post it here. Thanks a lot.

If your truck has the same setup my 97 has, start by writing down your radio presets and remove the nehative battery cable. Turn the headlight sitch to the on position and pull the **** out and look at the ***** shaft. With a very small screwdriver release the **** and remove it from the switch. Turn the **** 180% and put it back on the shaft, turn conterclockwise until the back of the **** is at the off posiion. Then turn clockwise, the switch will release and at that point can be removed.
