Installing GP harness

Hey guys, I'm getting ready to install a new harness because one of the glow plug pins is melted. I am also replacing the gp's that are bad. My question is, can I use the male/female bullet quick connects instead of the butt connectors ? Thinking I can change the harness out allot faster later if I need to and I'm not using up allot of the factory wiring.

How about reusing the valve cover gaskets ? Should I wipe the gasket and head mating surfaces with a rag or clean by other means ?

Thanks!
Greg

You can reuse the gaskets as long as they are in ok shape. I'd just clean them up and put them on. As far as the wiring, your best bet is to solder all the connections and seal with heat shrink crap.
