Question, truck names?

I have seen in several post where someone will call certain styles of our trucks by a nickname. One of them is squares. I can see that on is probably 87-91 or 92 when they changed styles. But I cant think of the others I have seen but would like to see a explaination as to what acronym goes with what years. I have never seen it explained on here so could someone explain what they are to us newbies and relatively newbies?

the most common ones you will most likely see thrown around (there may be others) are the following names (again this is not limited to just our trucks) these are just the most likely ones you may see tossed around....

Brick nose (due to the boxy shape of the truck nose)
Exploder - Explorer
Merc - Mercury
Expy - Expedition

there are more but my brain isnt wanting to work with out the Coffee so yea time to fill up

Square body is basically everything 80-96 before 1997 rounded trucks.

Brick nose is 87-91 flat front trucks.

Haven't heard that one before. Thats probably either 80-86 with the bumper guards that look like teeth, or the 87-91 agian.

Bull nose is the 80-86. 67-72 is called "bumpsides" and 73-79 is called "dentsides".
