Does anyone know if I can put a 08 body on a 02 CC LB
I have a 08 f350 cc 6.4 it's a ok truck, bought a 11 3500 mega cab ram that I like but don't fit in the cab, went and looked at a 11 f350 and there's no headroom. I guess it's the sunroof and airbags that lower the head liner and the cooled seats that rise it up some.
Anyway my 02 I gave to the workers and they racked the seats and put some dents in it so I think I would like to change the body and make it mine again.

I I'm hoping it just bolts on, if not and I make it mine again I need to replace the bed fix some dents and paint and that's just the exterior.

i would think it is alot easier and cheaper to fix the 02 i recently re did my 99 from a hard hit frt end collision switched to 05 frt end and painted the whole thing custom two tone . i know the service truck guys the companies that install them give good deals on whole beds if you really need a new one .

Body mounts to the frame differently on both vehicles not to mention the electrical connections, holes inthe firewall, A/C stuff..... It's all different.
There was a thread from pdombroski wher ehe stuck a new 2008 powertrain into an old Excursion. Had to do the front clip and all. He even did the electrical, dash, etc... But he had access to the proper facilities to do it.
I'd just fix the older truck or get anewer on that doesn't have a sunroof. How big are you? I'm 6'7" and fit in my 2008 just fine. The seats are taller in that truck than the 2001 though. Not sure why that is though...
