Universal ECO Ultra

Has anybody used this oil? Had mine my changed at the dealership and they recommended this. I trust the service tech, he has handled my truck for years. Just wanted to hear other opinions. Thanks.

P.S. Have 82,000 mi on the truck

I guess ill post beens no one else has but no I have never heard of that or used it. Id just use motorcraft.

I have always used Motorcraft. The cost has gone up to $26.95 for Motorcraft where it had been at $8.99. Both still add tax and filter.

I have no experience with the product but according to their website Universal Eco ULTRA is a synthetic blend motor oil made up of re-refined group II base oils plus an unspecified additive package. Their claim to fame is that using re-refined base oils reduces our dependence on foreign oil. It's made in several grades including a 5W-20 weight for our Ford engines. Don't know if it is any cheaper than other brands. The specs look OK . Link to their website below.

It's not cheaper.... I checked their website and it's $35.55 for 6 quarts plus $9.99 shipping to my zipcode. That's not even a full oil change on a 5.4!
