Mobil HDEO in 10w30 and 15w40 are on the Ford approved list:

Don't mean to argue just thought i would question this, I copied this off of the mobil website:
Based on what you've told us, your vehicle manufacturer recommends a 0W-30 or 0W-40 viscosity and oil that meets Ford WSS-M2C171-F1 and oil that meets Ford Spec WSS-M2C171-F1. We currently do not offer any motor oils in the United States that meet these specifications. The recommended oil filter is M1-405/M1-405A.

Interesting. 0W-30 and 0W40 are not really the 'preferred' choices either. 10W-30 for normal conditions and either 5W-40 or 15W40 for extreme conditions are what is mostly referenced in the manual.

That is correct. Mobil 1 is not approved for use in the 6.7 in it's current CK4 formulation and not on Ford's approved list. If you can find any M1 5w40 in CJ4 still on the shelf, it is approved for use in the 6.7. Not much left out there now that it's been a year since the CJ4/CK4 changeover.

Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 0W-40 meets Ford WSS-M2C171-F1. However, it is only available for retail purchase in Canada. I own some vacation property in Canada and stock up when I'm there. It can also occasionally be found on Ebay.
