I can never get a correct reading on my MPGs cause my gas gauge likes to jump around as it pleases, sometimes it will say i have a 1/4 of a tank start it up later ill have 1/2 a tank.
I like when i end up having more fuel then what i thought though.

Your fuel guage has nothing to do with your mileage. Miles driven divided by the number of gallons. I go about 500 miles between fillups, last couple have been in the mid 17's for mileage. I'm pretty happy with that.
