Weather strip help

I have an 89 f150 xlt larrat. The door glass run is no good and it sounds like my window is rolled down. I would rather not buy from lmc. I bought the inner and outer anti-rattle for the window from them and they did not hold up. they are already bad. I have only had them for three years. Is NPD good? I was thinking about buying the channle door glass run from them. Here is the link National Part Depot the part is at the bottom of the page.

I was doing some looking on FTE and saw that weather strips from lowes or home depo would work for repalceing the ones on the cab and door.

Thanks for any help

Hunt

I've bought from JCWhitney in the past, and they've been pretty good.

Those are the same things that I bought, minus the dew wipes. I haven't ordered them yet because I need to replace the door glass due to severe scratches from sand getting in the wipes when it was in Utah.

The installation of the items was easy and simple. The only air I hear now comes from the rear window...that's because the latch is missing and I can't get them to close completely and stay without the latch.

To aid in keeping air noise out, you may want to check and or replace the gasket behind the door panels. It's that plastic sheeting behind the panel. I'm getting ready to replace min in my Lincoln. I had to tear it up a bit to replace the window motor last year, and now it's giving me air noise...not much, but it's not near as quiet as it was before I had to disturb it.

Cool I will order them soon then. Thanks

Yeah mine is pretty bad too. I did not think that really did anything. I always though of it being there just to **** me off lol. I will look into that after the weather strips. I hate taking my door panel off. It never goes back on right and I finally got it perfect lol.

Thanks for all the help.
