Is this possible

My truck was having a fuel problem, luckily it is still under warranty. Took it to ford service writer called. They are having an inspector come out to look at before they warranty the work. They found all 8 injectors bad, fuel pressure regulator, ipr, accelerator pedal and something else i cant remember. So my question is, is this possible for everything to go out at once?

All 8 injectors...maybe if the fuel pressure (bad regulator) was low enough, it would have damaged all of them; but I'm thinking you would have lost one or two before the others. A fried FICM would have gotten the sticks as well, but since they don't have it on the "wish list"...I'm a little suspect. The IPR could effect the injectors as well. But all this at once...I have my doubts.

All eight injectors, coding at once, normally points to a bad ficm.

UPDATE.

The truck needed an exhaust back pressure sensor not an ipr. The warranty covered all 8 reman injectors #5 and 8 were bad 3 more were dropping out. Also covered the exhaust back pressure sensor. Wanted me to pay $1200 for the fuel pressure regulator and pedal assembly. So i rebuilt the fuel pressure regulator and holy cow that spring made a huge difference!!!

Thanks guys

If a new pressure spring made a huge difference I would say the injectors went out due to low fuel pressure.

Exactly. Sounds like the dealer or tech is trying to get into some serious $$$$ at the expense of warranty. $1200 for a fuel pressure regulator ($50) and pedal ($400 MAYBE) is plain old rape.
