Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo tires for a 4WD Ranger?

I've got a 1998 Ranger Supercab 4WD that needs new tires. The set of General tires I have currently are almost bald -- I barely got 35,000 miles out of them! I've done some online research and read some great reviews about the new Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo tires. Has anybody in this forum bought these yet? Can anyone recommend any other all season tires that will hold up and perform well? Thanks!

When I originally bought my truck it had a set of Bridgstone Duelers on it. They were the previous style and had decent tread left on them. Anyway, they were a good road tire but they were by far the suckiest snow tires I'd even driven on. They had next to nothing in the lines of traction on any form of snow from hard packed to deep they sucked in all of it. Unless they have done some MAJOR improving I will never own another set. They big ol' "made in Japan" stamped on the sidewall was a bit dis-heartening as well. I didn't like them tires and have very little confidence in Bridgstone/Firestone.

Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo tires for a 4WD Ranger?

Love mine... I run 32x11.5R15 Dueller A/Ts on my Explorer and they have been the best A/T tire I have ever run... they are great in everything from snow to light mud. The A/T Revo style is more aggressive and made for the "weekend" offroader. If the tax refund had been bigger I would have gotten them instead of the regular A/Ts. I definitely recommend them.

Bfg All terrain.....one of the few all terrain extreme weather rated tires...denoted with a mountain and a snowflake on the side of the tire.
My neighbor has 45k on his 35's BFGs...still going strong, minus a bit of weathering.

Michlen LTX A/T

great indestructible tire.

Where ever you get tires make sure that they offer a rotation and balance pkg for the life of the tires.

I got my 31x10.5r15's BFGs at Sam's Club for 120 a tire, and that includes Lifetime Balance and Rotation, Road Hazard, Lifetime fix Flat, all in addition to the mfgs warrantys. You can order any BFG, Michelen, or Goodyear through Sam's club if they don't all ready have it. Took 4 days for my Goodyear Allegras for my wifes Taurus.

I hate to admit it, but 35k is about par for a truck tire that saw average rotation.

If you want longer tread life and your not concerned with being off road that much I'd suggest the BFG Long trail T/a.

The michelen X radial is prolly the longest wearing tire that I've ever seen, you should be able to get 60k out of them.

heres a link to the BFG site for the tires i mentioned.
