A load range "E" tire is nominally a 10 ply rated tire which means it will have a much greater capacity than the original tires on your truck. It will also ride like a rock, and make your truck develop more squeaks and rattles. An E rated tire is designed for a higher pressure and for use on high load rating trucks like F350's. You can run it at a lower pressure, but the heavier weight of the rubber and plies will likely cause more heat buildup.

The first tire, with the lower weight rating, also has a "T" speed rating, which means the tire is good to, I believe 118 mph, whereas the "S" rating on the heavier rated tire is good to 112. So no problem there.

If the load rating of the first tire is the same or greater than what you have on your truck, and you don't get the feeling of instability, I would go with the better ride of the lighter load rated tire. It's kind of like you don't need heavy steel toed work boots to walk down the sidewalk with.

Good luck,
George

If you do get the Revo's, please be sure to check back in with a review.
I've read alot they're a great all-around tire, especially in the snow.
If the stock Wranglers on our 150 are as bad as the ones on my Ranger were in the winter, thinking of putting Revo's on.

I had the original Dueler A/T Revos on my explorer a few years ago. at the time, they were a bit more than other brands/models but I had the money and didnt mind spending a bit more. Well, it was worth it! I couldnt have asked for more from them, they didnt wear bad at all. I once drove through snow that was to the top of the wheels with no issues. Also I aired them down 12 psi for super soft beach sand with no issues. They were also quieter than the firestones that were previously on it and better in the rain.

The second link as George pointed out is for an "LT" rated tire. That's where the "E" rating comes from.

I'd go with the tire in the first link. It will handle anything the F-150 is designed to handle.

hey guys thanks for you input I did buy the Revo 2's they have been getting great reviews. So far I love ride they are quiet, they did great in the bad rainstorms we have been getting on the east coast. They look great on the truck, and give it a better more aggressive stance. here are some photos Pictures by flyersfan2009_2009 - Photobucket

I will update the tires as I get more mileage. I will be towing a 20ft boat. I will post how they feel under towing conditions

and I got a free WII system with the rebate from bridegstone or had the option of a 70 gift card. the WII is worth more so I took that instead

Hey 2011, they do look good and I hope they do well for you. A lot of people like them and they are a high quality tire. Did you get the 113T version as opposed to the E load rated tires? Do check back with a review after some towing and driving in other conditions.

Good luck,
George

You might want to try this site too. I ordered tires for my Jeep and they were a lot less with free shipping.

Here's a link to that tire you had listed. Figured it might help you save a little money.
