I had this happen to my 2004 Ford Escape. Replaced the Accessory Relay (NOT the Accessory Delay Relay). I purchased Standard V13081 RY612 for a total of $15.61. After three days, all is still well. Worth a try!

I just purchased a 99 F350 with a 7.3 in it. The radio was already out of it but I didnt realize why. Now I know it prolly has something to do with the leaky window problem I read about all the time on here. Im having an issue with my radio staying on plus my fan blower. Once I open my door I can hear a buzzing noise under my radio. Also sometimes my high beams work and sometimes they dont. Plus the light doesnt go off when I shut my door but a buzzing noise came from my fuse box so I pulled the small black relay out to shut the light off. oh yea the other day my horn just went of by it self so I had to pull the fuse on it so I didnt have to hear my horns blowing while I was going down the road. So I guess my question is could all this stem from the leaky window syndrome or could all these be none related and just be a pile of seperate problems?

As far as the dome light staying on, could be the door jam switch is stuck. Spray WD40 out of it to see if it helps.

Yes you can replace it. Replaced the Accessory Relay (NOT the Accessory Delay Relay) in the fuse box to the left of the driver's feet inside the vehicle. I purchased Standard V13081 RY612 for a total of $15.61. It is black and square and has a two-prong plug in it. It makes everything wacky if bad.
