F350 Oil temp, Trans temp Gauges
I did several searches on how to get the oil temps and trans temps in my F350. I do not have a display of parameters on my F350 XLT. I am very confused.
I want a display of coolant temp, Oil temp, trans temp, and maybe boost output on my dash. I have these little bity gauges, and I can't tell what they are telling me. Most of the time I can not read my speed indicator. I read the speed on my GPS.
So, what do I do? How do I get temp readings accurately? Your help is appreciated.
thanks ken
For the money it is pretty hard to beat the Edge Insight CTS. They can be found for just under $400 and will read just about anything that the PCM/ECM monitors. The best part about the CTS is the size of the screed which makes it easy to read on a quick glance.
There are more expensive options like the Dashdaq but the screen is small on it. If you have a smart phone there are bluetooth options for that as well, but again, small screen and hard to read. My kids provide me with far too many opportunities to spend money so I can never seem to keep up with my wish list, but the CTS is definitely high on that list!

>Question I have . . . . The Edge appears to be a "chip" and can be used to change the operating characteristics of the engine. True? Will this void my Ford warranty?<o
