Engine ID question again
I looked at the link for the VIN number If your vehicle does not have a tag on the door and it worked great. Actual VIN was on the frame right where it said it was! While doing that I saw on the drivers side of the Block, just below the head, 65 and right below that 352. Does that mean what I think it means a 1965 352 V8?

No, the "352" is on many FE blocks of all sizes.
Your manifold says "C7...", that's 1967, so it has to be either a conglomeration of FE parts or at least a 1967 or later engine.

Officially the 352 was dropped in 67, & the 360 introduced in 68. They both have the same 352 crank, the 360 uses the 390 bore block.

I want to know what exact motor is in my 68 is just so when I order engine parts I'm accurate. From the link to the differences between the 1960's vintage Fords my 68 is not all original. Looks like the box is a 69 and with the pull type of cab heater controls and door locks and handles those look like 67.

Parts needed
thanks for the reply. I will need a carb rebuild, looks like it is leaking from the accelerator pump. Some gasket is leaking oil. I tightened up the valve covers, they were loose. Both mufflers are shot, pipes not far behind. I will consider putting headers on with new exhaust if the benefits are worth it. Now is probably the time to look into it. I greased up all joints that i could get to. Power steering assist seems like it's not working like it should. Has a Garrison power assist steering system. Need to verify the power steering pump is working up to specs. Both fenders are rusted through where they all do, behind the front wheels. I can handle all the body work. Primarily going to use the truck to haul our 1963 Winnebago travel trailer. After seeing the sticker on a new F-150 of 45K wife said lets gets the 68 dependable to haul "old school Retro type" going to paint the camper white with Red Winnebago stripes. Towed by the Red 68 with the saying "Stuck in the 60's" on the back of Camper.

I thought my '65 was all the original parts. It started life as a 352. When I started digging in, I found that the block was a '65 390, a '67 intake manifold, and '72 exhaust manifolds. I had to measure the stroke to determine the engine size. I've since added to the confusion with my own modifications. I don't know how many people document the work they do to their truck; therefore, the story from the seller is almost never complete. I am less concerned about a original truck, since mine has been previously molested. When the truck is running well and I'm on the road, I have no concerns.
