AE is known as the "long lead" injector allowing a longer pilot shot I believe, to keep the noise down. It will not "harm" anything.

If let sit for like 2 days in little cooler weather in Michigan it wouldn't start without block heater. If outside stay 65oF or above it will start and run but miss badly until warm.

I check with my AE scanner it show #2 #7 #8 during contribution test. 2 mins later Then #2 gone it start work when warm. #7 and #8 stay bad until you drive for like 2-3 miles it go away.

I would be hard pressed to throw a set of injectors at a truck with that little to go on...

I replaced 3 injectors then mileage went up and it was great. Then now 1 start go bad then couple thousands miles later then 2.

Well I wish I could put 8 new injectors but unemployed so it tougher.

I wish I pull 8 injectors out T444E instead 4. What best part that I only paid $30 for 4 good used injectors

My plan is pull 4 injectors on driver side and replace all o-rings because I suspect I torn one on junkyard injector when install. It was start blow blue smoke at random time like higher HPOP it start leak. It use oil now.

Original injector I pull don't had pink o-ring it was black square o-ring.

Then save $$ for like another week before order another injector for passenger from RiffRaff.

They are new. No smoke out exhaust when crank. I use motorcraft glow plugs. But I will test them in morning to see if any bad plug again.

Problem is it worn out or bad injectors not let enough fuel go in cylinders which made harder to start until it plug in block heater for 30-50 mins.
