wheel cyl question
Posted this in the brakes forum but will here to if thats ok: Just replaced pads and drum on one side of rear on a '76 f100, got to other side and looks like a leaking wheel cyl. Question: do these need to be replaced in pairs?; in other words do I have to tear down the side I already replaced to install a new wheel cyl even though its not leaking ;(?

No. Just replace the one that is bad and you'll have no problems. These things can last forever without a problem but occasionally you'll have one that starts leaking. I replaced a leaking one on the rear of my 89 F150 several years ago and the other one (still original) is still doing fine.
