So im going to share my little project. Im going to cut out the carpet from the back lip where the bench sits all the way back to the tail gate and use the rhino liner and cover the whole back... Pretty much have to get rid of the carpet, since I cant stand the smell after my cousin decided to pull a prank on me ... I will add pictures of the process. Next..my uncle has stuff similar to the roll on rhino liner but this stuff hes got is actually used to cover bridges.. With this im going to put on frame after I sand/wire brush/clean it up. Will add pictures of the out come!
Surprisingly right now my frame isnt that rusted so its a perfect time do this before the winter hits and the salt hits the ground.
Also has anyone done this before that could share some pictures?
My entire interior is covered in bedliner, minus the plastic panels. Its good and bad. You hear everything as there is nothing to insulate sounds coming in then.
I went a step further and actually scored a thick (1/2") rubber bed mat meant for a superduty 8' bed ($40), and trimmed it. Wheel wells fit perfectly. Mat goes from the tailgate all the way under bench and stops right under front seats. Ill find some pics and post for you
This is the only pic I could find right now. Ill take some more tommorrow if weather holds. That ammo can is what the floor looks like under the mat. I use that can to store my top when its nice out, I say that now and there is my top just tossed to the side....
Note the seatblets bolt through the mat to hold it in place, I have to remake my diamond panel there to go over and tuck the edge under.

I lined the entire bed a few years ago with a product that has fallen utterly short of my expectations. However, the Rhino-lined tailgate is still flawless and not a sign of corrosion. THe local Rhino lining shop has done two of them for me. Inside and out up to where the bright trim panel mounts is completely covered and the drain holes kept clear. No more bubbling paint along the lower edge of my tailgate...ever. Just something to consider if you are doing the rest of the bed.
Yeah im not expecting much with dupli-color rhino liner I read bad reviews but thats all they had.
Took the carpet out will roll it out when I get to my uncles house.
I would check with your local collision supply house to see what type they keep in stock. Mine has some that looks pretty good, price is right, and one of the guys there has it in his truck so you can see what it looks like installed and used.
yeah think im gonna do that.....ended up wasting 20$ on a the dupli color rhino liner...I work for a university as a painter and the stuff I bought was junk mixed it up and poured it and there was big hard junks in it...will be getting my money back and going some place else.
Alright I manage to find a place with the herculiner and I absolutely love this stuff... I manage to get some what of 2 coats on...heres a pictures, looks better in person.
Thats what mine looks like, too! But I like the rubber matting as it deadens road noise a bit and protects teh metal from any dents. Also I was really annoyed by the rear seat anchor point sticking up like that, the mat filled the gap and it looks factory now.
Im going to leave it how it is I love how it looks, will put the bench back in within the next few days. What ill do for the winter is take the rubber waterproof material and put it in the back, for sound and insulation .
