What is that??
2011 F250 diesel 4x4. I just opened the hood and I see a new gadget. Anybody know what the plunger switch pointed at the hood is???? by the drivers side battery in the front. Kind of looks like a hood bumper but it has two wires going to it.

my Mustang and Expy have it. If the hood isn't shut, it will cause your horn to honk twice...like if you leave a door open and double lock it.
also ties in with the anti-theft feature. kinda nifty, but pointless IMO unless you have a real alarm system
