https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/p...ictureid=79550I got this truck two years ago with a bunch of add ons. Such as this front full grill, side bars, buckets converted from bench. I'm thinking of removing the grill for weight reasons but looking for opinions on the look of it. I looked around in the Show Off threads and saw only one truck with it and it didn't have the bars over the lights. I'm thinking about going back to a bench also. Just thought I'd get some input. Much obliged to ya
in my opinion looks only play a small part as far as the grill guard go. how often do you need it? i mean do you off road it where front damage is a big issue?
No off roading, no pushing the guy in front of me when the light turns green. Thanks. Once or twice in deer country on the way to the Ranch but that's everybody.
well im not really digin it for the most part but as far as that goes hes wanting oppions so oppion wise I like it, but I will say it does give extra light mounting spots...
Jaime74656, I appreciate your reply. You see to be on the fence about it, therefore the reason I did this post. I have someone that wants it but because these sell for $350.00 to $700.00, this one being $535.00 I thought I'd mill it around a bit.

and rightly so, I like the extra mounting for lights and the wench these things give, but I do hate they are just damage multipliers to our trucks, or any vehicle with one...
Much obliged to everyone. I didn't figure on the damage factor when I started this thread....its coming off, the side bars too!! Invest the money from it in chrome bumpers and grill
Try Craigslist too. I've had good luck trading unwanted stuff on there. i.e. The previous owner of my house left a tackle box with a bunch of lures. I traded it on Craigslist for a drop light and grinder.:
if I did alot of rock crawling and things where the front ent could take damage, I could see one of them damage multipliers/cow catchers...or car catchers as we call em...going on the front end of my truck, but here in Kentucky they are more of a novelty for more people...but hey I just laugh at the ones that wind up fugging up the whole front end because of it...after they wr...err....distroy there car....
