Welcome to the boards! That is a very soild truck you've got to start with there! Would go well with the patina'd look for a while before you decide to paint it. Should toos up some pics of that '57 too! I do have a soft spot for '57 SWB PUs too!

yeah started pulling it apart last friday after work so about 8pm lol and had it down to that last pic saturday around noon... lol when i start something like this i have to hurry on the things that get done outdoors because va weather sucks! lol cant never tell what its gonna do...

Oh man tell me about it!!! Was raining here from the start of the year till July3. Sitting through the boy's little leauge games shivering holding an umbrella the whole season. Then clear and mild all summer, July-Aug, never much warmer than 80s with a show or two. Now it's Sept and we've been in the 90s the last week or so and still continuing! Totally unreal weather, especially this year!

yeah its crazy you can look at the weather then go outside and it has changed lol thats how it is here weve had numerous days in the past month that it was in the 100's and humidity was unreal but thats ok winter is comeing so itll be nice plus my garage has a/c and heat lol

have more pics and more progress done on cleaning up the frame, i am gonna start a build thread to keep updates coming of the progress till its completed. when i do so since i see yall love pics i will try to post new ones as much as possible lol
