Wiper Prob!!!

So my wipers when not on, sit on the rubber seal on the bottom of the windshield. I know this isnt right. Every time they move back to their resting position the blade gets all chopped up from hitting the rubber seal of the windshield. Is there a way 2 remove the whole wiper and like adjust the angle by notching it up?

Yes. There is a small hole about the size of a finishing nail in the arm. Pull the arm up as far as you can. Slide the nail in the hole and it will lock the arm out. Then you should see a button like release on the inside. Use a large flat head to get that released/partially pried up. The arm won't come off easily so you will have to walk it off side by side until it does. Once you have the arm off, partially place it back on the multi-splined nub and pull the nail back out to guestimate where you need it. If all looks good the first time. Shove it all the way on until it stops and the release is locked. Otherwise replace the nail and repeat until set.
