There are very small snippets of video on youtube. Here is part 1. I think there are 7 or 8 videos. It may not help much but then again it might. Maybe some one who has installed one can view these snippets and critique them for being a good guide or not.
Tacson,
I don't know much... but when you state that there is about 3 to 3 1/2 inches clearance from the floor (where you put the pieces of the 2 x 4's)... won't it sink (drop) even lower once you throw the engine in it?
Otherwise, the project is coming along very well.
Paul
Sounds like you are almost to the same point that I am. I have the volare unit installed and am preparing to begin fitting motor/trans and rearend. What engine etc do you plan to run in yours? Perhaps we should compare notes as I am no expert but am relying on forums and part vendors to help me along. I have the no limits video in case you still need it.
Thanks for the video, I now know what type of front end I have under this 55 Ford I purchased. Is there any way to adjust the ride height on these or is it what it is? Other than being low, I have no problem with the frontend, but whomever installed welded motor mounts to it vice using a crossmember frame rail to frame rail. I am seriously contemplating removing and installing the Mustang II. Are there pros or cons?
