I'm finally getting around to installing my Old school non waist gated Banks turbo that I bought two years ago. Problem is my computer crashed a while back and I lost the manual. It was in a pdf format. Does anyone have a copy of the manual on their computer that could email it to me?
I did a search on google and found a sight that has tons of manuals and I found one for the waist-gated install. Its not exactly the same as mine but I think I can make it work. It doesn't show a real good picture as to how the pedestal mounts. Does anyone have a picture of their install they would be willing to share?
the pedestal mounts to the passenger side head. there are 3 bolts that hold it on.
i found it is easier to mount the turbo first, then mount the two as one. before you put it on the engine, take a big hammer and roll the cab seam on the firewall up out of the way. the extra inch will make life easier. and put the downpipe in between the block and firewall first. it will not fit once the turbo and pedestal are on.
there are no pictures in the manual on where the pedestal goes.
