00 expy 5.4 brake controller

hey everyone anyone have any idea if theres a prewired plug under the dash for a brake controller.looking to put in a plug and play prodigy p2.i know it was easy on my excursion and both of my f350's but dont know anything about my bro. in laws expy. any info is greatly appreciated.

If it has the factory tow package it should have one.

Check the rear of the vehicle. If there's a 7 pin connector for a trailer then almost certainly there will be a trailer brake connector under the dash.

thanks redhorse,going to my bro's shop tommorrow a.m. check it out for him while he's working.thats after a trip to camping world to pick him up a prodigy.the things you do for family!!! it's all good.thanks for the input.

Just a heads up. If you are going to use the trailer battery charge or the trailer back up lights. the relays might not be installed.

On my 01 they came in a kit that the previous owner didn't install.
Relay 203 for the back up lights.
Relay 302 for the battery charge.

herm thanks that would've had me cursing ford if it came up and i had no clue. great to at least have insight to possibilitys thanks to all on the forums. always appreciate those kind enough to use even a little of their time to make someone else's task a little easier...

thanks again to everyone turned out to be a 20 minute install (in the pouring rain no less).and thankfully relays were in already,but if they hadn't been knowing there location # would have been priceless.now its back to the 6.0 diesel forums for me.i'm sure i'll be back...
