I don't know if thats ok but my Expedition has a connector under the dashboard (just above the gas pedal) that I could just plug the brake controller into. A pigtail also came with the car that could be wired to the brake controller and had a connector on the other end to fit the connector under the dash. You can also get these pigtails just about anywhere that sells brake controllers. So before tapping into wires check for the brake controller connector under the dash.
