My truck is an 01 v10.it just recently started throwing the code system lean bank 2. But when it does there is no power lost or anything weird. It will reset its self when i turn the truck off.

My question is what would be causing it to have this code.

 

it could be a intake vacume leak,bad injector or even a o2s going bad. deeper look is needed.

 

+1 on the vacuum leak-----had a similiar situation where the codes would show random misfire codes but lean bank 1 and lean bank 2 were always in common. Finally tracked it down to a oil soaked damaged air intake duct tube. Since replacing that assembly haven't had another problem.

Vacuum leaks become more and more common in older vehicles----mine is an '00 van.
