I have an 03 Exc that has a defective power seat switch on the driver's side. Everything works except for the forward motion position.

Usually, I can repeatedly push the switch to the forward position, and eventually it will work. Alas, no longer.

Is there any chance that the switch is not bad, and I need to check something else out?

If not, can anyone tell me what the part number for this switch is, and do I have to buy this from Ford?

I have found this part on Rock Auto, but am not sure if it is the correct switch.

AIRTEX / WELLS Part # 1S9111 Electrical-Switch & Relay : Seat Switch $71.79

Have not called Ford yet, I'm a little afraid to.

Never mind. Took the switch apart today and like I suspected, the contacts were corroded.

Took a micro file to them, re-assembled, and now it works again.

Not sure what I might have saved on the new part, but worth it, regardless.
