95mph? Man i hit 70 and all i get is red and blue lights in my mirror - never had a chance to hit the limiter. And im pretty sure the answer is no to your question - all in the programming.
Well know if you don't want to get it with a tuner, I'm pretty sure AE will be able to make changes and/or eliminate the limiter. However, you'll still have to get something that messes with the programming, you just don't have to worry about getting something that is going to tune the vehicle as well.
I've not seen anything in AE that will change the speed or rev limiters.
If you can recalibrate the speedo for 40" tires, it should be able to do change the governors on these things. Did you check where you run all the KOEO tests etc? That's where it would be. I would imagine it would be in the same module as the selt belt minder disable function as well.
Tire size configuration is in the ABS module. It's the only configurable option there. Speed and rev limiters would have to be in the PCM but there is no option for changing them.
I hit 99 and couldn’t go any further with my 2014 coyote just wondering to take off the limiter if I have to tune will that increase horsepower?? And who do you recommend
Try this at your own risk. I've heard you can hold the ignition key to start while running, the gauges sweep, and speedo resets to zero. Example: If you're traveling at 30 mph and perform the key routine, top speed would actually be 123(93mph+30mph), while showing 93 on the dash and again hitting the limiter.
