Odomiter DTC code

I used the trick to show information on my 04 F350 SD 4x4 KR, I was going through the items and showed DTC 5284 was flashing, I have a SG II, and had it look for any codes but it was showing no codes. I looked the code up and it was for "oil pressure switch fail", was could be causing this error without SG II showing anything and is there a way to fix it?

Interesting question. I think it's common wisdom that the oil pressure switch isn't used by the PCM and isn't visible to the SGII. So it's not suprising to see no code on SGII. The odometer trick sounds cool! Is there a DTC list for the codes? If the switch has failed seems the gauge wouldn't be working or would be wrong.

I can't find any odometer DTC codes,
Odometer Trick
is how to do the trick, you can even watch the tachomiter reading versus looking at the needle. I might try plugging in my handheld reader and if it shows, I'll try clearing the code and see if it comes back up, if it does I take it to the dealer since it's under warrenty
