First report w/ pics

Well, my truck has about 2400 miles on her and she's been a dream to own and operate. She's smooth, quiet and she's the most powerful vehicle that I've ever owned, even with the 3.31's.

I've been on vacation for the past two weeks and all of my driving has been in town running small errands. Her average in town MPG's has settled right at 16.5-17.

She had her first oil change on Friday against the dealer's wishes. The dealer wanted me to come back at 5000 miles and do it but I insisted that they perform the freebie now. Naturally they pressed on me as to why I was so insisting and I simply said, I want the factory oil to be removed and if you refuse then I'll take it home and do it myself. He smiled and doubt swore at me under his breath and performed the oil change.

I will settle into a 5000 mile routine from here on out. Next change, 7500

Tim, did you take the wheels and tires off your daughter's Focus and throw them on your truck???

Kidding of course! Great looking truck my friend. I wish I had the EB's power and economy.

Looks like a jewel....

I noticed your truck has soot on the tailpipe also. This has been a common theme with the EB.

First Report w/Pics

Hi All:

Personally, I would prefer a different color however, It's a Good Looking Rig..

(Off Subject): Had to make the Trek to the V.A. Hospital yesterday 2/Sept/2011 for an adjustment on one of my med's and obtain another one..
Driving my "05" F150 4.6L , I normally drive using Cruise at what I call a slow pace (60/65)mph. However, I needed to get there due to the Labor Day Weekend as Dr's like to sneak out early (Been there done that)..

Everything turned out fine! On the way back home I drove 70/75 and stopped for Fuel then measured my MPG when I got home... Lo & Behold, Where before I had been getting 20/21mpg, Yesterday's figures were an astounding 23.18mpg.... As I said I alway's use cruise control..

Outstanding Fuel Economy, Driving much faster than I normally do..And NO! I'm not shinning anyone on nor am I crazy!!! Honest actual MPG...

Proud of my Truck , Guess all my TLC is paying off... Synthetic Oil, K&N Air Filter, Nitrogen in all the Tires, etc, etc!!!

Keep em Between the Ditches :

Good looking truck.

Did you ever have any of the issues with the shuddering at take off, or the unpredictable 1-2 or 2-1 shifting?

Not one single episode of any abnormality except great gas mileage and a smile that only a doctor can remove.

Tim: Why in the world would you want a Dr. to Remove it?..

I was so proud of my F150(for the exceptional Fuel Mileage attained on my Trek to the V.A.) that I gave her a nice bath yesterday and she is enjoying being parked in my circle drive which allows for 95% Shade most all the time..

Remember: All Roads Lead Someplace however, You can't get there from here....Burma Shave!!!!

yeah I know makes no sense too me either.....

Looks good Tim. My dealer also questioned me changing my oil at 1,700 miles.

Thanks bro. I've gone over it twice with Turtle Wax ICE. I love that stuff, it's so easy to use and it's friendly to the plastics and non painted surfaces.

Tim: Item of Note: I recently obtained a Bottle of "Armor All,Butter Smooth Wax" and gave it a try..

The stuff goes on super easy, then you turn right around and wipe it off, Easy-Cheesy".... Gives a really nice shine to the truck and seems to last quite long..
Personally, I love the ease of application and the way the end result looks!!

I know, My Opinion.. Just thought I'd share...

All the Best

Cya!
