It still may be worth going to an auto parts store that will check the truck's memory at no charge to see if there are any stored codes. If so, post the numbers here and we can give you some help.
By the way, what engine do you have? Also, what did you do when you found out that cylinder # 4 was misfiring?

Do you have any idea which cylinder is misfiring? Something is missing in either the original information or in follow-up replies that will give use some clues as to what is going on with the ignition system.
