they are never mint. always something to improve

here it was 3 years ago after a winter rebuild:

then it lived 2 seasons of wide open insanity:

and here it is now....an expensive and slow going "refresh"
LTZ REBUILD pictures by zookie400 - Photobucket

even when they are running great and you think you are good for a while, your luck will run out and you end up like my brother....with a nice shiney brand new bent frame

what kind of machine are you running? what type of riding?

I got a 87 suzuki lt230s motor rebuilt and frame re painted. thats basically it haha. i mostly do trails or open pit. not alot of track and racing. i just screw around with it. but my throttle sticks it just started today. itll spring back to almost shut then it stays open just a little for about 10 seconds thn the throttle goes down to idle. so i got that issue then im good and after that im goig to let it die haha.

I was getting tired of hearing my generator.
I put on about 85 hours on it the last week.
At least I will be able to watch the NHRA US Nationals from Indy this weekend.

Thanks Justin.
Hows the car ?

I got a chance today to put on a few coats of Herculiner onto the rear bumper and top of the body.
It went easier than I thought it would.
Now I just need to put the rear lights back in the AM after it dries good.

The cars good, every now and then I can still smell a little antifreeze but that's getting less and less. I keep having to remind myself to use the clutch, this tranny doesn't like to shift like the Pete.

Glad to hear it Justin
Must be different to be zipping around the Focus, instead of a big truck.
I like the color too.

Going to try and get some stuff done before it rains.

Good morning Jim and everyone else.
Boy am I glad I did not mess with that when I needed it. The fuel valve was seeping on the generator and I just went to tighten it a little and it snapped off in my hand.
Now I need to get and ezout to get the rest out of the tank and get a new valve.

I hope everyone has a good day.

.
