Hello everyone.Been a couple weeks at least since I was last in.
Nothing has changed, still looking for work.
Found out earlier this week from my old employer that they ultimately lost the contract in Afghanistan for one of their aircraft types (which I was trying to get a position).
Of three aircraft, one leased aircraft was returned to the owners; the other two aircraft went to Romania.
They had/were factory trained(ing) a crew of mechanics (I'm not sure how many) to send over to Afghanistan and I suspect that those guys were terminated as the manager mentioned how much money the company just wrote off for that training.
Oh well.
