Good morning and have a fantastic labor day weekend eve CT.

 

Saw 3 kids get arrested last night. One right outside my window and the others as I was walking around.

 

For what??

Smoked my Lincoln welder/genetator on Wednesday powering two refrigerators, one freezer a fish tank and a 220 vac well pump. No help getting it fixed in CT so I called Haun Welding in Syracuse, NY where I bought it in 1984. Service department was well aware of the type unit I have and said there used to be a fix for them, but it's old and there is no fix anymore. Borrowed a 5000 watt generator to power two refrigs and three freezers on Thursday morning and wouldn't you know it, we got power in the afternoon. Salem was the last town with 100% out of power. Guess I need to upgrade engine driven welder...

 

couple kids in the dorm room next door to mine got arrested too, im surprised i didnt see you last night.

We sold pizza that fell on the ground for a dollar a slice. some dirty girl ate all of it. except for the 1 slice that didnt fall on the ground.

My room mate and I went for a walk around campus just cause it was Thursday night and we knew that since it was the first week CCSU police would be making examples of people. As I stood up from putting my shoes on I saw a kid getting arrested for what looked like marijuana right outside my room. The next ones were hosting a party and I'll assume they were minors or a lot of people there were. Explorer rolled up 4 CCSU cops jumped out and all hell broke loose. I laughed hysterically.

I'm not entirely sure how I haven't seen you around at all. I saw your truck parked near the student center a few days ago but that's it.

 

and the weekend officially starts...now! i need to shower, get some groceries, and go pick up the wife at bradley.

dui checkpoint on the berlin turnpike for anyone traveling that way.

 

I got a little bit of work done on the truck this evening, and yes the checkpoint was still there on the tpke. There were 5 minivans pulled over, but not THIS minivan! Ah man, I just dissed myself. Damn!

Hey yall So i got some good news. Im taking this girl out for her birthday. i want to make it really special for her and all that good stuff. Itll most likely be around Ccsu cause thats where shes going to school. So i need suggestions. Food, places to go, nice parks. Anything.

 

I'll tell you a secret. Go somewhere that you like to go, and do something that you like to do. If she isn't on board with any of it, then it's not going to work out anyway. Obviously keep it date appropriate, but if she enjoys whatever you do, at least there is a chance it could work.

 

Sad part is i dont mind doing them /
