I am having my bed sprayed at Line-X this weekend and the technician told me they remove the bed bolts before spraying, which I was glad to hear. I asked him about the two removable black plugs in the front of the bed, and he told me they usually don't remove them and just spray over them.
I am on the fence about having them sprayed or having them removed, and then put back after the bed is finished. I wanted to know what everyone thought. Should I spray them, or have the tech remove them and then put them back once the bed is done?
I just had a Line-X Xtra sprayed in my 2011 F-150 a few weeks ago and I was on the fence about that like you. Ultimately I decided it didn't really matter that much to me and I just let them spray over the them.
Trust me though, you won't regret the Line-X. Its a great bedliner.
I never paid attention to them and mine got sprayed over. I'm pretty sure I would have never used them, so I haven't lost any sleep over it. I love having the Line-X, too.
If I'd known that I would be getting a BAKFlip F1 that uses drain tubes that go through a hole cut into those rubber grommets, perhaps I would have had them removed before being Line-X'd...
I have seen people line-x the grills or bumpers....How does line-x look after say driving down a dusty gravel/dirt road?? Does like the dust flakes stick in the line-x material??
looks better to me if they are left in. I will say though to make sure they cover or remove your spare tire under the bed. I got some Line-X overspray on mine and that should be interesting when and if I use it one day.

Look at my grill. Nothing but compliments from peeps and I also did my Luverne bars(not pictured) with line-x of course
No dust acculminating any more than unsprayed grill.
thanks hank.
I am kinda thinking about line-x ing my john deere gator bumper but since i drive alot of gravel roads i dont want that nice black line x to look dirty and not being able to really wipe it done good enough.

I do love the look of the grill. My son is driving pretty soon (he gets truck)so he wants me to get black rims on next. Yes I`m losing my truck and the search is on for another.
