You have to buy offset bushings and replace the bushings you have with the correct offset. You will need to know what bushing you have now and what your camber is now before you can select the correct replacement bushing.
The previous owner put heavy front springs in and now the tires are kinked in on the bottom and I don't want my new tires to wear funny, so maybe it would be easier to put stock springs in it and put an airbag in the springs so it will carry the plow fine. Thank you for the help guys.
Man I don't see how that is easier. The airbags are going to cost you more than the bushings and an alignment, plus you gotta deal with keeping them aired up. Your truck, tho, good luck with whatever you decide.
How hard would you say it is to do the whole camber job?
I think it is very easy, but that's me. I do my own alignments, been doing them for 30 years. You can get a gauge to set your camber from a racer supply house, I think I paid about $60 for mine and the bushings I get on rockauto.com for about $5/each. Toe I set with a big long bar I got from Harbor Freight for the purpose, but you can do it with a tape measure with a friend, which I did for many years before I got the HF thing a few years ago. Toe and camber affect tire wear, caster does not, so don't mess with caster unless you have a pull to one side. As long as you set camber to +/- 1 degree you will be fine - it's not super-critical.
