Just from reading around their website, I'm not sure how it's legal. I can only imagine how many people they've ripped off because they thought they were bidding on an item how a normal person would expect (i.e. an auction, ebay, etc).QuiBids.com - QuiBids 101: The 3 Biggest Mistakes Beginners Make
The timer is reset each time a person bids, therefore, an auction ends when no one else bids. It never ends when people are still bidding. We want everyone to have a fair chance.






In a nutshell...they use false advertising (i.e. 15" Macbook sold for $5) to lure in people to bid on items on the false pretense that it's an auction. It's ebay (in that you're bidding on an item) where you pay for the right to enter a bid (
) and the auction never ends as long as people are still bidding.
You pay something like $10 for 15 bids. Each bid only raises the price of the item $0.01
You can just imagine how much money the website rakes in when the "sale price" is in the double and triple digit numbers...
