It'd be a complete driveline swap. None of the stock transmissions in a Bronco will bolt to the modular mills. And this is probably why you won't find too many who have done it. Its a lot of fab and electrical work for a project that is just as easily accomplished with a motor/trans setup that will swap with a lot less work. Besides that, the 4.9 I6 and the 5.8 V8 are fine power plants for the Bronco that were available in these trucks for a long time.
It might be easier to get a frame with the drive train you want and shorten it to set the Bronco body on. Been done in the classic Mustang world several times.
