Turbo out?

i have just recived it, its a 2000, with about 180K on it. Its all stock. Negitave on the boost gauge, going to install one after i get it running right.
Its a rought idle with check enging light on. Getting OBD II reader tomorrow to check it out.
Side note some one cut the altenator wires off. Now there is a 4th wire on the alt plug, but only 3 on the truck which has been cut, (Dam tweekers)
