Help! Transfer Case is leaking

Filled up my transfer case after buying my truck a few months ago. Finally figured out that it was leaking right where the tail shaft housing bolts to the main case. Is it possible to remove the tail shaft housing with out taking the transfer case out of the truck to reseal?

Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank You

Sorry but unless you can state what vehicle etc. you have it is very difficult.
Some people have umpteen dozen vehicles listed.
If you are the same person that posted the picture you should be able to determine if the housing can be removed.
