Hello

New member here. Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been reading posts on here for a couple of months while researching the new trucks. I ended up ordering a 2012 F350 SRW Lariat with everything except tailgate step, moon roof and bed liner. I had good luck with line x on my previous truck so I will stick with it on the new one. Plan on keeping this truck stock. It is supposed to be at the dealership this week.....of course it was supposed to be there last week too! I have amp powersteps and a pace edwards full metal jackrabbbit cover sitting here waiting. Also ordered a lockpick for the nav. It should be here this week.

I currently have a 2005 F350 crew cab xlt. I will be glad to be rid of the 6.0 It really appears that Ford got it right with this new motor.....thankfully. I love Ford trucks but had serious doubts as to whether I would own another after my experiences with the 6.0

Anyways.....Hello and I look forward to contributing to the forum in the future!

Jeremy

Welcome and you'll be one of the first few here to have a 2012.
The 6.7L in the pickups is almost flawless so far. I couldn't be happier.
I think Ford took a conservative (safe) route with the power in this engine for now and we still have 400 HP.
For towing, I don't see why we would need more.

The only problem you will have is face muscle issues from grinning to much!

I smile every time I think about this truck. My 05 is a pretty plain truck. I know a lot of people do not like all the electronics and stuff but I like all of this stuff. I can't wait for the sync, navigation and dash display on this new truck. Not to mention the power.
