Placed my order for a 2011 F-350, Crew Cab, Long Bed, FX4, Lariat in Tuxedo black. Lariat interior package, 3.55 locking rear diff, Nav...the list goes on and on.
I also sold my 2007 F-350, so now I am Powerstroke-less for the longest 6-8 weeks ever!!!
I'm not sure what hurt me more, waiting for the new truck to arrive, or having sold my 6.0 weeks before and being truckless during hunting season. All is right with the world now though. Congratulations on your order, you'll love it.
Congrats. I hated letting go of my 2007 6.0 and the wait is horrible. BUT it's worth it. Shoot I still have feelings for my old 2001 7.3. I even widh I had my 1985 3/4 ton with an inline 6 and a granny gear. That was a truck, back in the day. I still love that truck....I could go on forver with all the Ford trucks I've had,,,,,,,,Sorry to go off...
Someone, would you post how to search and look up truck by VIN, so he can see the sticker,... when he gets it. I got to droll over that screen and it helped a lot. I have it memorized.
I have no doubt I will love this truck from top to bottom. Don't get me wrong, I loved my 2007, but after a very short test drive of the 2011 I was hooked. I will say I am excited about the automatic transmission...shifting through those 6 gears in town got old!!
I am rather particular when it comes to my toys with knowing how everything works, what not to do, how to use it, etc. so I get the most out of them and use them to their full potential. That being said, I am trying to learn as much about this truck as I can, so if anybody has any words of wisdom, or "cool" things they figured out, I'm all ears!!

I am in the waiting mode as well. Last estimate on the ETA to the dealer is the week of December 13th. Not sure if you found the manual online yet or not. Spent a good portion of my waiting time going through it.
Salesman emailed me today to tell my my truck is in production at the plant, and an ETA of delivery to the dealership on December 27th!!! He said though that will probably slide to the first part of the year....but still getting excited!!!
When I ordered my truck, I was on FTE like 10 times per day reading the feedback and watching Epic's vids. I was in a seminar when my salesman called to tell me it was in. I saw the caller ID and new it was on the ground but I couldn't leave the seminar, shout, jump up or down, or othewise freak out!!

So my truck was completed just before Christmas, but with the holidays it would take a little longer than normal to get to me. Salesman just emailed me and said she's made it to Kansas City (assuming to the F-150 plant) and is waiting on all the rail cars to be filled before the train makes its way to DFW. Could take another week....but she's almost here!!
