A/C Recharge
My a/c is in need of a recharge from what I saw in Bismic spread sheet was R-134a with out A/C system sealer
what I didnt see was at what pressure the system needs to be charged to
and I didnt watch all the vids but at what port does it need to be filled at
IIRC I saw one with a Black cap not shure thats the one I want though
and
IIRC R-134a needs to be added on the low pressure side of the A/C pump
Thanks for you help

I hope when I put the gauge to it that I see positive pressure it should
I will check tommorro its on my list I should have a gauge in the garage
its not as cold as it used to be but it does get cold
and the system never been opened/taken apart hope to not have to vac it
I got a bottle of recharge from waly world before when I did the cars worked great I just remember hooking the recharge can to a blue port but thats a car
Steel do you have a A/C vac setup if so where did you get it I do have a vehicle thaat got opened up I recharge without vac the sys and it works but Definatly needs a 30min vac and fill

Benny--don't go by the capacity tag on the belt routing under the hood as the system capacity has been raised to somewhere between 42 and 46oz of freon IIRC. IMHO the best thing you can do is find a shop with a recovery machine, have them recover the system completely, and replace to the correct capacity. IF they do it correctly you'll have to pay for very little additional freon and they can add back any oil they recover. If they do find a leak then you can repair it and come back later to have YOUR freon recharged.

Buy the Leak Check bottle IF you decide to recharge it.
