Been Playing around.

Figured this year i will do a few things, Thanks to DPTuner, RiffRaff and the speedy mail delivery folks, I have been humming along getting R done. A couple hours a night this week. No issues except recovering from bruises and scraps.

WW install, With new turbo and pedestal o rings.
DpTuner, (NS,HI,S,60T,80E) LOVE IT !. Can't wait to hook up the camper!

And Tonight-Plenum inserts and new cac intercooler boot kit. Boot kit didn't take long to install so i thought i would gather some info for future reference and call it done for the this years tinkering. Went for a test ride to see if a boot is going to pop boot off plus warm her up for the AE reads.

Truck ran sweet as it has been this year.. JUST FASTER ! and Sounds Sweeter. I love this truck and even more now.

I didn't have a code set at all before starting, I checked just for reference before starting the work. Everything look ok to me (AE rookie and what the data is really telling me rookie) But the data looked good compared to other data I have collected. I was even expecting the PO603 code from what i have learned on FTE. No other codes found. CC test passed, Buzz Passed. But the Key on engine off revealed the shocker i wasn't prepared for. Surprised because the truck is running spectacular. I was planning on just ignoring it, But thought i would ask. Don't really want to go pull the chip back out to test these errors because i did such a thorough job working at the kitchen table getting her ready to install. Plus, tomorrow was soap and suds day for cleaning her up.

Thoughts? I looked around to see if i missed a connection from when I was working on the turbo and pedestal. Just has me baffled.

I would assume it was from disconnecting the UVCH's while you did all the work, clear them and see if they come back, likely they wont.

I would clear everything, run the buzz test and move on. Did you make sure your heater/AC control dial is off? That makes difference when running tests. Also try running the KOER test as it s more accurate.

How do you clear them? They don't show up on the trouble code screen, Just while i run this test.

KOER was successful, so was Buzz and CC, No results. Only the KOEO showed errors.

Not sure on the heater/ac control dial.. Didn't know about that. I will run again tomorrow to make sure that isn't the case. Could have been on Low fan speed.

I did pull the driver side UVCH when i work on the turbo, So i would not ding a wire accidentally dropping the turbo on it. Didn't touch the passenger side.

Take a look at my AE page. I have put a bunch of stuff to explain the tests and help files on it.

Thanks Ken. In regards to the KOEO.. Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Injector Electrical Self Test

1st, I didn't reset the 603 code before i did the test.
2nd, I don't remember it firing the injectors the paragraph on your site specifies and now i remember it was supposed to. (don't use AE that often to remember things)

The buzz test fired the individual injectors through. I do remember hearing them.

I will to this again. Plus i will make sure everything is off. Heater/ac. etc.

Update.
Cleared the P0603 code. Have not see it since. Got a clean bill of health.
No more High to low side errors showing up as seen in post 4.
Key on engine running. was successful.
Buzz was successful.
Looked good. No codes. Clean as it was before i installed the chip.

But, Radio off, Ac/heater switch off. (Key on Engine off) Still giving me the PO605
Must be the chip huh? Won't know for sure unless i pull the chip? Should i worry or just forget about it and call it good? Just got back from a 100 mile trip and ran super.

603/605 is usually from the chip, or disconnecting the batteries. . It happens because when you change the programming on the PCM it wipes the "Learned" memory. I wouldn't worry about it.
